Synopsis

The pantomime “Peter Pan” will be performed by the Glengarriff Theatre Group at the Eccles Hotel in Glengarriff on Friday November 30th and Saturday December 1st at 8pm, A Charity Matinee performance will be shown on Sunday December 2nd at 3pm. Peter Pan is about the boy who wouldn’t grow up. He lived in Neverland and went back to England and became to know Wendy Darling and her younger brothers. Wendy and her brothers fly to an island populated by pirates (including Peter’s sworn enemy, Captain Hook of the brig Jolly Roger); a crocodile with a taste for human flesh; Tinker Bell, the irritable fairy and Tiger Lily. Follow their adventures in Neverland and their return to England. This pantomime was adapted and written by Maggie Frame O’Neill. It is a pantomime she has always wanted to direct and has a cast of more than 225, which presents a lot of challenges. Co-directors are Laura O’Flaherty and Aisling Morris. Tickets are €10 for adults and €5 for children and will be available for purchase on-line on the Glengarriff Theatre Group website from November 1st.
