‘Play On !’ - Spring/Summer 2010

 

Another first for the group - a play within a play!

PLAY ON! was a comedy about a group of actors desperately rehearsing a murder mystery despite constant changes by the playwright. The show detailed the cast's disastrous dress rehearsal, all the way up to the final madcap performance. This play was a difficult one to pull off, but the director and cast rose to the challenge, and the performances were enthusiastically received.

Following the play's successful launch at the end of April, an additional charity performance was presented in July in Glengarriff as part of the Maureen O'Hara Golf Week. Two final performances took place at the Carnegie Arts Centre in Kenmare later that month.
