Charities Donations
The Glengarriff Theatre Group performed a charity showing of “Don’t Dress For Dinner” on June 18 to raise funds for Katy Hourihan and Annie O’Shea who will be participating in the Niall Mellon Township Trust project in South Africa later this year. Pictured (right photo) are Betty Damiaans and John Dervan presenting a cheque for 1400 Euro to, from left to right, Katy, Florin Keavney and Annie. The Glengarriff Theatre Group, which has raised almost 30,000 Euro for various charities since its inception nine years ago, wish to thank everyone who bought tickets for this showing.
The proceeds of the raffle for the July 3 showing of the same play were donated to the Junior Golf program at the Glengarriff Golf Club.
